MoUs with Universities: Contributing towards development of Young Minds
To have a better future, it is imperative that we inculcate our students with the right skills and provide them the exposure that helps them to understand complexity of the development sector. One of the pillars that CURE bases its foundation on is community participation. CURE believes that involving people in urban governance is an attitude and needs to be instilled within the next generation of planner, architects, engineers and other development sector students. With this understanding, CURE has collaborated with different universities to involve their graduate, post graduate and Ph.D. students in live projects. CURE offers them an environment where they experience real life challenges and contemplate on possible solutions. The students are involved in research and field work based on their area of study and are encouraged to translate academic knowledge in to actions on ground. CURE benefits from the new outlook that students bring in to the projects and energies necessary for ground implementation.
CURE has signed MoUs with Universities like ‘London Metropolitan University’; ‘University of South Sewanee’; ‘University of Portsmouth’; ‘University School of Planning and Architecture’; ‘Lady Irwin College’ and ‘School of Planning and Architecture’.
