World water day was celebrated on 28th March 2019 at Gandhi Peace Foundation. The event was attended by 150 people from 25 settlements. The event was an experience exchange event wherein 10 stories were presented by the community representatives highlighting the practices adopted by them to save and improve access to water in their respective settlements. The event enabled the attendees to learn about the best practices that have been planned and implemented with the communities in other settlements in Delhi and Agra. This was an initiative by CURE to encourage cross- learning within the residents of low-income settlements to enable scaling up of the best practices of creating a water resilient community.
