Services Level Benchmarking-Connect (SLB-C)Pilot Study
Water and Sanitation Programme, The World Bank
Service Level Benchmarking Connect (SLB-C) is an ICT based application for local bodies to track service delivery outcomes. By engaging citizens in the process of data generation, SLB-C captures people's perceptions of service quality against defined benchmarks. CURE tested The World Bank developed mobile-based application in two slum communities in Delhi with the objective of customizing the application for slum communities and enabling poor households to connect with service providers using technology, for improving service delivery in their areas. Youth from the two settlements were trained to collect household data on availability and access to water and sanitation services using the app. The data was analyzed for service level deficiencies using a dashboard system.
